This cable and adapter kit enables you to connect a 2.5" laptop hard drive to a conventional desktop 3.5" IDE connector. This kit comprises the plastic moulded connector, which has an excellent design without an exposed PCB.
Uses of the 2.5" to 3.5" IDE adapter range from disk ghosting from or to a laptop drive, conducting data and drive diagnosis or to make use of extra 2.5" laptop drive. This is suitable for all 2.5" IDE Hard Drives, including 9.5mm and 12.5mm drives.
