This enclosure enables you to connect an IDE hard drive via an external enclosure via the Serial ATA interface. The Serial ATA to Parallel ATA enclosure has a standard ATA port which can interface to a parallel ATA device.
The Serial ATA to Parallel ATA external enclosure supports the Serial ATA generation 1 transfer rate of 1.5 Gb/s (150MB/s) on the serial side and is compatible with Ultra 133 on the parallel ATA side.
