The 9V battery is used in a wide range of applications such as remote controls, wireless systems, GPS and electronc toys. Again NiMH batteries do win out in features over NiCd due to there ability to avoid hysteresis problems and the need for periodic charge exercising.

This 9V battery is designed to provide the maximum capacity possible for this voltage at 250mAh.
