Bi-Directional converter for Serial and Parallel ATA. This adapter converts from SATA Hard Drive to IDE or IDE Drive to SATA Host. The adapter is compliant to Serial ATA 1.0 and supports 1.5GHz data rate. This means you can plug a SATA Drive into the IDE connection on your Motherboard or an IDE Drive into the SATA connection on your Motherboard.

This Bi-Directional converter requires no drivers and has automatic Serial ATA 1.5Gpbs speed negotiation. The converter supports Partial/Slumber power mangement and Spread Spectrim Clocking to reduce EMI. It also provides adjustable TX signal amplitude and pre-emphasis level.
