The black Lian Li EX-50 hard drive enclosure supports 1 port 3.0Gbps eSATA II interface, 5 port 3.0Gbps SATA II interface, automatic speed negotiation for 3.0Gbps or 1.5Gbps, Native Command Queue (NCQ) and Hot Plug. It has a fully hardware accelerated RAID Engine and no driver, BIOS or software is required for RAID operations. The RAID is independent of device SATA port connection sequence and RAID levels 0, 1, 3, 5, 10 & JBOD are supported. It has RAID 3 & 5 write back cache to enhance performance and a SATA in band application interface. It supports more than two terrabyte RAID drives, on line command based bad sector recovery and on line auto rebuild. The rebuild speed is 200GB per hour, rebuild proceed continuously between power cycling. It supports hot spare on RAID and various RAID configuration and monitoring methods. This enclosure has one 140mm cooling fan (22dBA @ 1000RPM) and HDD mounting with the Lian Li patented anti vibration kit. It can hold up to five 3.5" hard drives with a maximum capacity of 10TB and is 175mm x 235mm x 260mm (W,H,D).
