The Mini-Q PC-Q07 has had all the sharp edges removed to protect the user’s hands. The chassis is made of 1.5mm aluminum alloy panel to ensure the product’s durability and all external parts are hair-line brush anodized aluminum. The clean shape of Mini-Q PC-Q07 with rounded edges and hair-lined anodized aluminum exterior with blue and red back-lighted power and reset buttons will fit with interior decoration easily. The PC-Q07 is compatible with standard Mini-ITX motherboard, standard 5.25” optical drive, standard 3.5”/2.5” hard drives, and standard ATX PS/2 power supply units. To reduce the size and vibration of the Mini-Q PC-Q07, the side panels are secured with screws, this also lowers the noise level. The 3.5” hard drive is mounted with tool-less thumb screws with shock-absorption rubber ring, to reduce the noise. The PC-Q07 has a passive cooling design, due to less heat from the Mini-ITX system. There are vent holes at the bottom part of the side panels and chassis, this allows air to enter to cool the system down. There are also some vent holes next the rear I/O slots, designed for CPU cooling. There is also room for a CPU cooler with a height of 70mm. The power supply unit can be turned 180 degrees. When the user has an ATX PS/2 power supply with 120mm cooling fan, the fan can be placed facing the motherboard. Alternatively if there is a CPU cooler with fan on board the user can turn the power supply and have the fan facing outwards. The motherboard is mounted on the right-hand-side side panel. This makes installation of the motherboard very easy. The panel can be removed and there is no need to work inside the case. The power supply unit is mounted with a mounting plate, the user slides the power supply into the case through the rear opening after the cables have been connected. It is also a handy design when the system needs to be serviced. The two USB port connectors follow international specification standards, and are located in the front, allowing easy access.
