The FlyVideo 3000 PC-TV board is designed to satisfy different user needs while offering basic functions such as TV reception, FM radio, stereo sound, video recording, and video capturing. FlyVideo 3000 is a single slot PCI card with a built-in 125-channel capable TV-tuner that automatically scans antenna or cable TV sources for channels. With the external audio/video inputs, you can also connect to a VCR, camcorder or video camera. Incorporating the latest TV tuner technology within the FlyVideo 3000 allows TV or video viewing in a sizable, scaleable window (up to full screen) on your PC monitor.
Some of the enhanced features now offered in the FlyVideo 3000 includes WDM teletext data extraction, new application software with which you can capture video in MPEG1 format. In terms of the teletext data, developers at LifeView have integrated both VXD and WDM driver support for all versions of Windows into the FlyVideo 3000. The bundled utility software allows the user to not only capture high-resolution still images and convert them into BMP or JPG format but also convert full-motion videos directly into MPEG1 format. Moreover, FlyVideo 3000 provides the freedom to run virtually any videoconferencing or videophone application for live video sessions over a network or the Internet.
Optional features available on some models of the FlyVideo 3000 is a built-in FM radio tuner and a remote control unit for a more convenient viewing experience. FlyVideo 3000 is fully 'Plug-n-Play' ready for easy ready-to-go installation!
Is it possible to record stereo FM Radio using the FlyVideo video capture card?
Yes, you can record the FM radio output - the stereo audio cable (that is included in the retail pack) loops back into the line-in port of your sound card / motherboard and you can use sound recorder or another application to record. FM radio is stereo.
Does the software include VCR capabilities?
The LifeView software suite includes a VCR or "recording scheduler" that runs in the background, and can be programmed to record TV programs at any time on any channel.
