The Secure Digital card, or SD card, and MultiMedia MMC card are a commonly used form of storage card due to its extremely compact size and very light weight. Secure Digital SD card is primarily manufactured by Toshiba and Panasonic.
This SD to CF Adapter is 3.3mm in thickness conforming to Type I slot specifications as is most suitable for printers and cameras that accept CompactFlash Type I only. However the SD card cannot be fully inserted into this adapter and its length is longer than a CF Type I card.

Inside the SD to CF adapter you will find gold plated connectors and a Phison PS3001B controller IC handing the data transfer between the SD card and CF card rails. SD cards protrude by 16mm, therefore giving a total length of the adapter plus card as 66mm when installed.
