The Thermaltake Muse Landisk all aluminium fanless NAS system offers support for up to 500Gb PATA IDE 3.5" hard disk drives. This NAS features SAMBA and FTP server, smart DHCP configuration (no IP settings are required) and three LED indicators for Link, 10-100 & USB connection and activity monitoring. This NAS sports an attractive mirror coating, metal design and DA Meter with blue backlighting. Your HDD will be safe and sound with the Muse's antishock protection and metal construction offering great survivability for all your documents and files. The screwless clamshell design of the Muse NAS enclosure makes installing your hard drive an absolute breeze and the tool less 'click to install' mechanism ensures you'll be up and running in no time at all. Connectivity is provided by both USB 2.0 and RJ45 ports, so you can connect the enclosure to a system, without needing a full network setup, which is a great feature for sharing files with friends and work colleages while on the road. The metal foot stand, included in the package, means you can opt for the Muse Landisk to sit flat on your desk, or standing if you prefer, tucked away behind a filing cabinet or hidden on shelving for extra security. The Thermaltake Muse Landisk is compatible with Microsoft operating systems from Windows 98 SE onwards, including XP, Vista and Windows7. It is also compatible with Mac OS 8.6 upwards.
