The X-Mate V801 is a powerful all-in-one portable media player, USB attached storage and image tank with a 2.5" LTPS TFT high resolution LCD screen for photo viewing and media playback. Supporting popular digital film types in the CF Type I, CF Type II, MD, SM, MMC, SD, MS & MS Pro formats, the V801 enables you to copy all those digital images off your cameras memory card easily and safely, letting you get back to shooting film in moments. You can copy data or images off supported memory cards to the internal 2.5" IDE HDD (purchase separately) with or without connecting the V801 to a computer, offering increased ease of use in the field, or whilst away on your trekking holiday. You'll also enjoy the media playback abilities whilst on holiday, with the V801 being compatible with AVI, MOV, MPEG-1, MPEG-4 and DivX-5 video formats at a video output quality of 320 x 240 pixels. The V801 also features fantastic audio playback in MP3, WMA, WAV and CDA formats, meaning you'll never have to sit through a long flight or bus ride again without your favourite artists pumping those beats! The V801 works with all common Microsoft operating systems from Windows 98 (with driver) through Windows 7 (drivers not required for Windows 2000 SP3 and above) and has dimensions of 128 x 76.5 x 30mm. This small, compact and highly useful mobile storage and personal media player will find a home just about anywhere - from the pockets of your pants to any backpack or camera bags pouches. Please note the V801 is shipped without any internal HDD installed, you'll need to purchase separately an IDE 2.5" HDD between 20Gb and 320Gb in capacity, 9.5mm maximum in height.
